Catches fire!! Do NOT buy.
Do NOT buy. We have had it just over two years and it caught fire tonight. Thankfully we were able to put it out while our 6 children ran to the neighbors house. Absolutely terrifying.

Great for the first 18mo
It (was) a great freezer. Super chill and tons of room. Its very big which allowed for a whole cow and mutiple deer. BUT less than 18mo in, one the the high temp alarm is going off - the compressor wouldnt start. Had to pay Geek Squad to come out (even though i bought with the Best Buy membership). They determined the freezer was junk. Fortunately the extended warranty under the BB membership got me a replacement. Otherwise i wouldve been out the freezer.

Useful and functional freezer
I’ve had it for over a year now and it works great. A little bit of ice forms around the seal sometimes which I think implies a less than perfect seal, but it doesn’t seem to cause any real problems. Haven’t had any other issues. It does exactly what I need my freezer to do.

Do not buy
Would not recommend. Not even two years old going in the trash. Do you a favor and buy from an appliance store, I just threw away an entire cow.

Great freezer
I have had the freezer for a over a year, the freezer maintains a constant temperature, no problems what so ever, even though it is in my garage here in Pensacola Florida and the garage gets very hot in Summer. Great freezer! Today I will thaw it for the first time.

Great freezer
I reviewed a number of options before settling on this freezer and for what I required, it fit all my criteria. I’ve had it for about 3 weeks and so far everything is working well with the freezer and I’m very pleased with it. I packed 40 lbs of meat (which had been in the freezer for almost 2 1/2 weeks) into a cooler for transport via airline and when I unpacked the meat about 13 hours later, it appeared to be just as frozen as when I first packed it.

Do not buy this freezer!
We purchased this chest freezer in June 2022 for use in our garage. The freezer broke and overheated a few days ago which just happens to be 2 months after the one year warranty expired. Thankfully my daughter discovered the issue before we lost all of the contents. We were left scrambling for coolers and asking for help from friends. Given the cost I expected more reliability out of this chest freezer. Sounds like planned obsolescence to me! Do not bother with this overpriced piece of junk.
