Stopped working after 5 months
On the surface the Crucial 4tb ssd was sold at a great price and when it worked, it was fantastic. Unfortunately, after 5 months the drive could no longer be accessed, despite working with Crucial support personnel. I have to return the unit for a refund because Crucial has exited the consumer products market and no longer has the drive in stock.

Is amazing
I’m extremely impressed with the Crucial X10 Pro 4TB. The combination of 4TB of storage, very fast transfer speeds, and a compact design makes this an excellent external SSD for professional work. I mainly use it for 4K video editing and transferring large video files, and the performance is excellent. With sequential speeds rated up to 2,100 MB/s read and 2,000 MB/s write, transferring large files is significantly faster than with a traditional external hard drive or standard USB SSD. The 4TB capacity is also a huge advantage for video editors. I can keep a large amount of footage, projects,…

Failed after a year
I did not believe the bad reviews but man, I have four years of videos on this and it just failed. The drive stopped mounting on my Mac entirely, cycles through its LED states but never shows up as a volume. Tried it on multiple devices to rule out a cable or port issue and got the same result every time, so it’s clearly the drive itself. I do video work and trusted this for my footage, which was a mistake. Speed was great while it worked, reliability is the problem.

Little, but mighty
I am a bit of a data hoarder, and this (refurbed) thing keeps up perfectly. I have files that I saved from time in service all the way to now and they range from huge VR movie files, books, games, pictures, gifs, regular movies, 3d print files, etc. The write speed is FAST and transferring things from computer to this or my SanDisk to this is still really fast. Highly recommend, will definitely get another when I need it.

Fast!
This drive’s read and write speeds make file transfers very quick. Its also cheaper than some of its competitors. Can’t go wrong with this buy.

I am thrilled with this product. I originally tried ordering it on Amazon, but unfortunately received an empty box instead. Luckily, my experience with Best Buy was excellent. The sales representative provided outstanding assistance, ensuring I received my actual product without any delay.
