Another pile of garbage from Brother
This is the third try at Printer. The first one died about two years and and just wouldn’t print at all. My partner bought a replacement ( same Printer) because this somehow has decent reviews and I thought maybe I got it done. I did get a Duan had to return it within a month for a replacement. This is now the third one and it will only print via a cable plug directly into the computer. The whole point of this printer is to be able to print from every computer in the house via air print but you can’t do that anymore. It is also out of warranty.

Brother printer HL-l3280CDW
Bought this printer 1 yr 5 months ago. Only used it a handful of times and now it jams constantly. Took it completely apart and can’t find any paper ect that’s jamming it. Called brother support line, absolutely worthless. Paid $350 for printer and looks like I’m going to be throwing it in the trash. Internet is full of info on brother products telling you not to buy. Far as I’m concerned brother makes cheap junk. I will not be buying anything with the brother name on it, this thing is good for nothing except maybe a boat anchor and I would highly question that.

Quality Printer
We bought these printers almost a month ago and so far, it has been working great ! The quality is amazing and it isn’t bulky at all. Definitely saves us space in the office.

Worst Printer Purchase I’ve Ever Made
This printer has not worked properly since day 3 of ownership. Prior to any print job after that point, I have had to remove the cartridges and slide the green tabs. Even then, it may or may not print. Print quality is atrocious. Brother’s customer service was nonexistent. At one point, the Brother rep told me to send a picture of the unopened printer. I said, ”I have been talking to you about printer issues, what makes you think it is unopened?” No response. Started getting drum errors with 72% drum life left, followed by phantom paper jams. Regardless of paper type. I should note that I…

Great printer
Im generally not excited about printers because there is always something wrong about them, but this one has been great so far.

Won’t print nomatter what. Do not buy it.
I have a college DEGREE in computer technology and I still can’t get this thing to print! It printed a couple times when first setup but now it’s constantly disconnected, in an error state or undetectable on the network. The print quality was fine but $350 for a few prints is not a good ROI. I’m unsure if It’s returnable or if it stopped working just in time for the return period to close. It shows up as a device in their own print and scan app but it still won’t print. Once you close out the app, it removes the printer from the list of active printers. Adding it back doesn’t make it print.…

Great Printer, Pricey Toner
I don’t have many projects requiring laser print but I don’t like the cost of the toner. I tweaked my settings on my printer and hopefully I’ll be able to use off brand toner cause $100-$150 per toner is ridiculous.

Very solid printer
This is the best printer I’ve ever owned. Nothing fancy, but it works consistently, setup was very easy and it fits well in my home office. Would definitely recommend.
