Features
- The MartinLogan Sound Regardless of the environment, MartinLogan speakers achieve high levels of articulation, detail, and realism. Utilizing exotic thin film technologies and Controlled Dispersion, MartinLogan provides unique and special listening experiences not commonly found in the industry.
- Gen2 Folded Motion XT Tweeters The Gen2 Folded Motion XT Tweeter is the flagship variant of MartinLogan’s signature FMT technology. Elevating the signature FMT to new heights with a 40% increase in surface area, providing higher levels of detail and effortless sound.
- Motion Waveguide Enhances the Controlled Dispersion of the Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeter, blanketing the listening area with incredible detail and precision. Avoids performance robbing room reflections and provides a more consistent sound across a wider seating area.
- Controlled Dispersion Room acoustics are vital, as everything in the listening room has an impact on speaker performance. MartinLogan minimizes these harmful effects by focusing the sound into the listening area, increasing flexibility, clarity, and placement options, regardless of the room’s design.
- Kevlar-Nomex Midrange Motion XT’s Kevlar-Nomex Midrange provides an ideal combination of lightweight, high strength, and anti-resonance for maximum fidelity. When paired with Motion XT’s Gen2 FMT XT, the vocal clarity, dialogue, and instrumental accuracy are unrivaled at any volume.
- McCracken-Vojtko Crossovers The culmination of combining extensive anechoic, in-room measurements, and multiple blind listening tests with the low distortion philosophy of MartinLogan’s signature Vojtko Crossover. Through this process each speaker was refined to achieve peak performance.
- Enchanced Cabinet Bracing If a speaker cabinet isn’t braced properly, it will vibrate or resonate, resulting in masked clarity and detail. This 4th generation Motion XT series features specially engineered bracing to maximize sound quality by minimizing unwanted vibrations and resonances.
- Secure Lock Grilles Stealth mounting tabs securely hold the grilles in place allowing the listener to customize the appearance of each speaker. Creating a unique look; leaving the grilles on, off, or even rotating them to change the grain of the fabric providing maximum aesthetic control.
- Threaded For Stands Threaded inserts on the bottom of the speaker allow for secure attachment to MartinLogan’s matching speaker stand, the STAND25.

Martin Logan Motion XT B100 Bookshelf Speakers
Very nice and attractive speakers- another customer in the store remarked the speakers look like good furniture- beautiful. Connections were a breeze to set up (wired) - you need to review the instructions as these speakers are definitely for audiophiles. The company answers the phone and/or calls you back, - if you have a question or need advice. Martin Logan requests you set your receiver to 90 or 92 decibels for 72 hours to set the tweeters, I just ran them around 60 decibels for a longer period, because at 90 decibels you could rattle the neighbors. I have a Denon receiver and updated all…

Smaller than towers but still sound great.
I am a Martin Logan fan and was about to buy a pair of B10s until I listened to these XT B100s. I do not have reasonable places to put in towers and the B100s turned out to be a wonderful substitute in my front speaker array. The highs and midrange are nice and crisp and there is a reasonable amount of base, too.

Excellent Purchase!
Excellent Speaker. I have 4 of these paired with the XT F100s, C100 and 2 B10s for a 9.2.4 configuration. I use these for my wides and surrounds. They match the timbre with the F100s. Great speakers. Well built. Beautiful to look at. I think as far as appearance, they fall between B&Ws and Sonus Faber or Focals.

Great sound/design, not great open box condition
”Excellent” open box condition is not excellent, there are many permanent markings on the front and sides of speaker, including damage to the gold ring in the walnut color. It did include cable, grill, and documentation I have it paired to wiim amp ultra and svs sb1000 pro sub in a living room, having a sub is highly recommended if you listen to anything with bass in it at all. The sparkly highs are what sold me in the magnolia demo room, sometimes I feel like I’m at a live concert. If I had the money I would be looking at the floor standing speakers equivalent.

XT B100s
I love these Martin Logan Motion XT B100s. They have really added to my 5.2 set-up. I have them matched with a pair of Martin Logan F10s, Dynamo 800x and a Dynamo 12, along with a C1. The sound quality from these XT B100 is just out of this world. Great job, Martin Logan!!!

ML XT B100’s - Style and Substance!
Had these for a few months now. They are very solidly built bookshelf speakers. I have placed them on the matching stands. Look really nice together. More importantly, the sound is very engaging, clear and dynamic. My first experience with an AMT style tweeter. Some may find it a bit sharp, but I do enjoy the very pinpoint and crisp detailed imaging. Bass is decent down to about 50hz in room, but I have it paired with dual SVS SB-1000 Pros and it is magical in 2-channel stereo and thunderous and clear in home theater applications. Couldn’t be happier at the price.
