Great buy
Bought for my 8 year old. He lives it!! He takes it to school and to summer camp. Great for reading in the car and during long trips.

A great way to keep reading
While this is aimed at kids, the hardware is the same Kindle Paperwhite 12th generation, just with an included cover and the addition of the Amazon Kids+ subscription. The cover is fine - this one doesn’t look particularly childish, and it protects the screen when closed, and has a sleep/wake function built-in. Since receiving this and getting it set up, I’ve read 7 books and several novellas. It’s just so much more convenient to carry than a paper book, and much easier to read in bed before going to sleep. Solid hardware if you have a lot of books in the Amazon ecosystem.

Wife is a huge fan
Wife carries this around with her wherever she goes. She also reads on her phone, but the battery on this thing just keeps going and going. Great for road trips
