Best Cooktop
I love this Viking cooktop! The 45-inch size gives plenty of cooking space, and the stainless steel design looks beautiful in the kitchen. The burners heat up quickly and cook evenly, making meal prep so much easier. It’s easy to clean and feels very high-end and durable. Definitely worth it for anyone wanting a professional-style electric cooktop.

So Far, So Good....No Great!!!
The installation went smoothly and professionally. The cooktop is a beauty to behold. Just starting to learn how to use this ceramic cooktop. So far, so good. The six burners are an amazing asset. Managed to keep three omelet pans going all at once on the first try, so clearly it is not much different from my old electric cooktop. But having six burners instead of the usual four is a real treat! Just need to figure out which of my pans match the three different burner sizes. Clearly, it is important to do your homework, so you will know which pans you can use and which you should not use on…

Good replacement for a Jenn air 45” stove top. Just a little smaller in the width.

Perfect Cooktop for Our Needs
We love our new cooktop. We needed one this size to match the large cutout in our existing countertop. It is a bit pricey, but not as much as replacing our counter. This Viking was the only one that matched our needs, so what a relief that it works perfectly and looks beautiful, too!

Extremely pleased w/Viking cooktop. Delivery was delayed by Manufacturer. Installation was expert and performed on appropriately 90 minutes by two technicians. Installation cost was $150.

Easy to Scratch Cooktop
I previously had a white cooktop. I had to buy this one as a replacement due to the granite cutout hole size. Both are Viking. The white was good and lasted 10 years and then could not get parts for a needed repair. So, I ordered the black since they no longer made the white. The cooktop scratched the first day I used it. It is miserable to keep clean and it looks dirty all the time no matter how much cleaning I do. Do not get a black cooktop.

Viking for private use
Unfortunately I have so far not much experience with this cooktop. I appreciate the size for bigger gatherings, because you have the opportunity to make different things at the same time. The heating time is short and efficient.
