Love this printer!!
This has been a fantastic printer - love the EcoTank - really a great idea!

The good and the bad
I love the print quality and the value you get with EcoTank printers. However, lately I have been getting way too many jams with printing. I have had to put the printer on ”quiet” mode so that it doesn’t try to load the paper too fast. For scanning, the ADU always had an issue with jamming if it didn’t quite catch the paper right. Again, the printer is fabulous... when it doesn’t jam. Which currently, it jams about 50% of the time.

Ink Spill
Purchased 9/2023. I returned it today because the eco tank wouldn’t take the black ink. Come to find out it was leaking ink under printer. We didn’t see it h til we lifted the printer to bring it to Best Buy to recycle. Thankfully, I had purchased a warranty. Glory to God!

good printer for the money, prints a little slow but the money savings in ink more than makes up for the wait

Printer
Once we got it working it’s great We like it a lot, easy to use…little harder to set up. We had difficulty using card stock paper but now it’s good

Love this!
LOVE this printer! As a Small business owner I was going though so many ink cartridges using other printers! This printer is wonderful and cost efficient thanks to the eco tank. We print daily and the ink tank is still OVER half way full! Don’t walk…RUN and get this! Emer

ET-5170
Screen is small and is hard to see and learn a new printer. The instructions were not clear in set up. Had a problem in connecting to laptop, call geek squad and they helped the best as they could with what connection that was there in the laptop. My wife and I worked on it afterward and was able to make the connection. At last somehow the folding cover for the Auto Document Feeder broke on one side and it drops when flipped open. The pin is to small that holds the ADF cover in place. Overall the printer is good. But as a plastic machine it needs a closer look as the support points need more…

I loved it so much, I bought two!
This is our second printer ( I accidentally broke the touchscreen on our first machine). I love this machine for our small business. It gets used a lot every day and works great every time. It is easy to install, does not use a lot of ink, and prints clean and clear every time.
