• Small but mighty

  I’ve been able to spend some time with us. He so many PC and it really has been a great addition to my fleet of computers. I currently have it set up in my living room in my home theater system so I guess you could say it’s a home theater PC/server. I’m currently using it to play games and for video conferencing as well as streaming video games from my consoles from the living room. It’s small form factor helps a lot with keeping it portable enough to have in the home theater set up and not be massive in a sense. • Nice micro pc

  I’ve been looking for a simple small pc to keep on to run a few agents that are currently running on a laptop I have to keep on. This Revo PC has turned out to be a really good option for running a few small purposeful tasks. I needed something that was afforable, small and didnt get in the way. This PC checks many of those boxes without too many compromises. The PC itself is a pretty unassuming little box, it comes with a mount to mount it to the back of a monitor and an AC adapter in the box. • Underwhelming and underpowered.

  Small desktop computers like this have been popping up all over the place in recent years, and for good reason. Processors have been getting smaller, cooler, and more power efficient, while having similar performance to the top tier processors of just a couple years ago.   After using the Acer Revo Box Mini PC for a couple of days, I would describe it as a basic but capable desktop computer. Nothing about its performance is especially high-end, but it does a good job with the everyday tasks it was designed to handle.   Pros: -Compact and quiet -Plenty of Ports -Easy set up Cons: -Only 8GB of Ram The REVO is a compact and lightweight PC. It stays quiet and keeps cool during operation. The performance is what’s expected for the specs it has, but those specs are low making it only good for minor tasks like browsing or streaming. The setup was easy, but it took quite a while. I did like that it was doing the updates first as it was going through the setup, but it did took quite a while. Expect to give it about 45 minutes to an hour to complete the setup.
