One-handed control The supplied RMT-VP2 detachable remote commander front panel provides PHOTO (shutter), MOVIE (record), AF-ON, C1 and zoom/focus buttons, letting you shoot video or still images one-handed.
Use as a tripod and operate the camera remotely The detachable wireless remote commander delivers even more flexibility for your shooting. With your camera mounted and the grip opened into tripod mode, simply detach the magnetically affixed remote commander to capture photos and videos, and control key settings, with a range of approximately 10 m (33 ft)1.

Great accessory for my Sony camera
Looks and feels high quality. It makes filming myself a lot easier. Shots are also more stable. It doesn’t let me shoot vertically though when I use it as a tripod stand because it ends up being unstable once I detach the remote. I ended up buying a rig for this purpose.

I bought this to go with the Sony ZV - 1 for my daughter. I guess for the price I thought it would be more than what it is. I mean, it’s basically a stand, no extension/ tele ability, moves button control from camera? I would buy an articulating and adjustable small tripod and a remote Bluetooth shutter button over this for sure.

Perfect companion for my Sony ZV-E10 II.
Connects instantly to my Sony ZV-E10 II - makes it real easy for my outdoors vlogging - and the remote control is great for simple stop/start etc from several meters away. My Sony camera is polar white, and the GP-VPT3 is also in white. They look super cool together! !
