Disappointed
Very disappointed!! The refrigerator after being installed did not cool properly and was told that I needed to reach out to LG to have it fixed. after several weeks and still not fixed we are waiting for a new compressor, the repair man said that some one had worked on it already and I was not told about this issue. Thought I was buying a working refrigerator and that it had just cosmetic issues.

This fridge is perfect so far. We have a small entryway into the kitchen, so I called a moving company and had 3 strong guys pick it up and put it through the hole in the wall from the dining room.

Worst fridge I have ever had.
Worst fridge I have ever had. Poor plastic quality, bottom drawer broke before a year of use. Poor distribution design. Even when moving shelves around not good for tall items. Too deep, you cannot find things easily. Finger prints constantly left on stainless steel, even when cleaning with a special product. Difficult to clean, spills got in between the plastic-glass shelves, impossible to remove. Filter was changed, the light still prompts for a change.

Our old fridge literally stopped working overnight and we had to get something new stat. As a Best Buy Total member, I knew we would be buying from there. I wanted to get an LG because we have other LG appliances and they last a long time. The price was right on this one so I pulled the trigger. At the end of the day it does what it’s supposed to do - keeps food cold. Keeps freezer stuff frozen. Easy to adjust temperatures in both compartments. Filtered water dispense is great - the kids love it. Nice cold water and better than from the tap. The door open alarm is nice as well - especially…

Broken icemaker
Smaller than we wanted, the sales person told me it would be the perfect fit. We could’ve gotten a bigger size and after being hooked up and waiting for the icemaker to freeze the ice, the icemaker did not work and we had to wait a week to get it fixed

Compressor went out after only 2 years
Compressor went out after 2 years and 3 months so nothing is under warranty anymore. Repair is over $1000 and not recommended by experienced repair person. He said he sees this all the time with LG refrigerators. Very frustrating since we paid so much for this unit. My recommendation, buy another brand.
