j5 connecting to Mac Air
The J5 is perfect for me as I needed to connect dual monitors. The challenge was operating with Mac Air. I utilized the Geek Squad twice and they were able to operationize the two devices. There was some behind the scenes things they did with the 2 devices to make them work together. Now it works like a charm!

Returned item due to severe heating
How coincidental that I received this review request the same day I returned this item. I have 3 monitors but due to this product becoming so hot I only used 1 port. However, even with 1 port this item got extremely hot. Due to my safety concerns I returned the item.

HDMI multi monitor
Works very well. The landscape view works well. The quality of the splitter is good. It does heat up a bit. But working so far. It’s been about a month.

I’d give it a 2nd try
I found that this item would get hot even when my computer was shut off. Odd. I have the Jcreate with 2 hdmi ports and it works perfectly. Maybe what was delivered to me was just defective..
