Windmill 6000 BTU Window Air Conditioner
Windmill is an excellent brand. I had never heard of the brand before but sure am happy that I found them. This is the best window air conditioner that I have ever purchased. I have been in my house for 35 years and this is the third air conditioner that I bought. It far surpasses my other two. Installation was very easy. Just lift it into the window, pull down the window and pull out the side panels. You are ready to go. The air conditioner is solidly in the window. Nice looking unit. Not the coldest air
Ehh, this AC is very nice looking but it’s struggling terribly in my second floor cape bedroom. It’s a hot room but nevertheless it’s not working great. Better suited for low-medium cooling.

Airflow challenge
This is a nice looking window unit as many have said. The challenge is that air flows out of top vents, unlike most ACs where it flows out of the front. If you have curtains, this is not a great design. You have to move curtains to allow air to flow, and if its night, you are forced to choose between privacy or cool air. In addition, filters are very pricey.

Good AC with a clean design
This Windmill 6,000 BTU smart window air conditioner works well for a small room. It has a clean modern design and is pretty easy to use. The cooling is good, and the smart features are convenient. It can be a little expensive compared to other window AC units, but overall it is a solid choice.

Do your homework before buying.
Returned this item after using because it wasn’t cooling the room enough. I loved the design of this unit and the installation was really simple but it just couldn’t cool adequately for my room with high ceilings. Also, the unit has a charcoal filter that needs to be replaced every few months so there is an additional cost to owning this unit. The replacement filters aren’t that expensive but it is a little annoying that there is a continued cost that isn’t explicitly stated on the product description.

Great air conditioner
This air conditioner is a great size, not too heavy to lift and works well at cooling. And the instruction manual that came with it in terms of insulation was the best I’ve ever seen My only challenge was the location of the control buttons on the ledge which could be hard to see sometimes. But that’s not enough to stop me from loving it

More than just a pretty face!
What a great AC unit! The instructions were easy to follow and installation was simple. It does a good job of cooling our bedroom, and we’re really considering ordering some more units for our home. I especially like the flexibility of using the remote, the app, or even the Google Hole integration. It’s so nice to be able to cool the house ahead of time when we’re on the way home.
