Forget about Sonos Integration
I purchased this record player specifically because it’s advertised as Sonos compatible and seamless to connect and use. The fact is, however, I’ve had nothing but problems. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it connects, and then randomly disconnects. Songs will begin to play and then begin to skip or go silent because the connection dropped. Increase the delay and it helps for awhile and then it skips anyways. Nothing but annoying ghost problems that come and go with no clear solution. I recently moved to a new house, got the victrola out of the box and it couldn’t…

When it works, it’s nice. Read if Sonos Customer.
When it works, it’s nice. When it doesn’t, it’s the most frustrating listening experience. It’s like back when your CD player used to skipped except it’s more frequent. I bought this for the Sonos connection. I have decent internet in my home but don’t have fiber available in my neighborhood. I think the lack of fiber internet significantly affects the connection to my Sonos system. That said, this product should have a line in option to connect to Sonos but it doesn’t - especially for the price. I have my wifi connection directly next to the turntable and at one point even fed a line into…

Returned
Connected to Sono speakers with no issues. The music playing thru speakers was very annoying. Every ablum played was a disaster and became even worse the longer I kept the unit. Was a waste of my money. Was very happy Bestbuy took back without the box it came in. No special features. Unit had to be manually operated. Yes it’s over priced even with a 200 00 discount.

Victrola Stream Onx
Excellent turntable, I love how it works with the Sonos soundbar. Most turntables don’t work with soundbars so it means added speakers.
-
Great sound. Easy to install.
Great sound. Top cover protects record playing surface against dust. Easy to pair with our Sonos system.
-
OK but not great.
OK deal, not the easiest to set up or get working.

Player
Simply amazing! Picked this up as a present for the old lady and I’m listening to it more than her. I have it connected to a Sonos amp and it’s definitely been a pleasure.

Choose something else.
If you are looking for aturntavle that sonetimes works with your sonos and gives average sound. This is it! It ”works” with sonos but requires its own app, which is even worse than the sonos app. I woukd recommend looking for another solution.
