This Breathed Life Into My Nikon D3100
I’m a photographer who’s been shooting off kit lenses and telephoto zooms for a long time. I recently went back down to the Nikon d3100 and decided to purchase a lens to reboot this camera. This Nikon 50mm f/1.8g lens has been a great experience to do such! I’m amazed at the portraits I can get with this. Yes, when shooting wide open there’s chromatic aberration, specifically purple fringing, but it adds a character like no other. Paired with the Nikon d3100, the very very manageable file sizes and its quality is an absolute steal! I know it’s 2026 but this setup still works! Absolutely love…
