Great Sound, Great Size, Great Party Lights
This is a somewhat niche product, that I imagined I would have purchased immediately when I was in my late teens or early 20s. Then I find myself trending back towards it again as a host of gatherings outside, on the beach, on the boat, on the deck, often while entertaining, and wanting the sound to match the environment. JLab has always felt a little bit like a white label brand, with their design being a unique to them style, but just striking me as just a bit parts bin techy. Loud, Portable, and Well-Priced
I have owned many Bluetooth speakers over the years, ranging from very small to very large. This is one of the bigger ones I have used and the first from JLab. I was very impressed with the quality despite the reasonable price point. Pros: - Sound quality was excellent when using the Bass boost preset. I did not like how audio sounded with the ”balanced” preset. You can also create a custom equalizer setting which is nice. - Battery life was fantastic. The JLab Epic Party speaker is JLab’s take on the Bluetooth “party speaker” genre. It’s a solid speaker with excellent features and very good, not great, sound. While mid-sized, it is easy to carry with the included handle and the waterproof and dustproof design makes it suitable even for pool / beach environments. I got this and looking at the picture on the website I thought it would be big, but when it arrived I realized it is HUGE! I charged it for a few hours, registered it on JLab’s website and then paired w/ my devices, which took little to no time at all. That night we had a video night at our Church and the speaker we normally used has some issues, so I bought out the Epic Party Speaker and I must say it was a HIT! JLab has been my favorite brand of headphones and speakers in recent years by a landslide! This Epic Party Speaker is my largest JLab speaker to date, and wow has it been a fantastic addition. The high quality build and feel to this speaker is even more impressive than I was expecting. The JLab Epic Party Speaker absolutely blew us away. After trying multiple speakers this size over the years, I have learned to keep my expectations in check. I’ve had a few bluetooth speakers over the years so I pretty much knew what to expect, and the jlab epic party speaker did not disappoint. In the box you get the speaker, which is very nicely packaged in a kind of faux-cloth bag,(would’ve been cool if it were an actual bag with a drawstring, but whatever), a dedicated charger, and some documentation.
